i know a couple of ph. d. professors who work in this field, and their IS good research and a core of truth. but that careful and detailed work is not what is showing up in popular books on the market.
But If you live near NIH, or have access to DIALOG or MEDLINE, you might be able to get some of the true useful stuff.
